Where else to start?

So I’ve decided I’d start a blog, or at least actually doing something with the account I’ve had for over a year. My plans for this blog are to discuss those random thoughts that dance around my head at some point in time. This will also serve as a way to publish my thoughts about life as an American student in Bologna, Italy for a year. (I’ll travel to Bologna sometime in September.) Until then, I might rant about this, that, or the other thing. Who knows what will actually end up on this thing, but I suspect it will include a wide range of things… from sailing, to time travel and to food that I wish I could make in my dorm room. For now, I’m going to try to figure out how to personalize my blog, like I’ve seen so many others do.
